Excellent product
I have bought the Eglu Go Hutch for a rabbit and guinea pig after abandoning two wooden hutches after only a year(one blows over in the wind and the other one has rotted already). I would love to see two changes to the Go Hutch; the ability to take the run off quickly without removing the outside panels and a handle or two to facilitate moving the Eglu. Apart from these points it is perfect; however, moving it in a small garden with the run attached is quite difficult and to take the run off is not a two minute job.

My revised review a week later
My original review is dated 27th July 2014. We've now had Eglu Go Hutch (with our 2 guinea pigs in it) just over a week and notice two design flaws, which if corrected, would make this hutch a '5 star' product in our view: There needs to be a door in the first panel next to the hutch on either side, for access to clean the run and front of hutch. A two-meter run (essential for happy piggies) WITHOUT this extra door, makes it near on impossible to clean near the hutch door, such as removing droppings/wiping down; I've had to crawl, commando style, into the door at the far end and do the job this way - not sustainable with a hutch that has to stay put due to space restrictions in our small garden. We are seriously considering creating a door ourselves by cutting the wire (any alternative suggestions please???). Secondly, there needs to be two hooks, one either side at the bottom, at the front of the hutch, to secure the heavy duty full length cover (with existing lower bungees) so that rain doesn't soak the entrance/exit used by the piggies. Their run is dry but not by the hutch door, so they're understandibly reluctant to make use of the big run and lush grass (which they love). I have managed to pull the cover just enough to create a small overlap to help overcome this (and hook the bungees under the anti-predator skirt just beyond the hutch) but it was a struggle....... We still really like this product and so do the piggies (which is what really matters) but it REALLY needs this extra door plus hooks for the rain cover.

A good products but needs a few improvements
Overall, this is a good product, but for the very expensive price tag, it needs some improvements. The hutch itself is fairly easy to construct and seems robust; access through the back door is great. It is staying cool inside during this warm weather so that is reassuring. However, I feel the hutch could do with a kind of protuding 'lip' at the top and front to offer more rain protection at the point where our guinea pigs exit it into the run; it would really benefit from an overhang. We bought the 2 meter run which is VERY big and so an excellent feature, however, it was incredibly fiddly to construct and I had very sore thumbs and fingers after clipping it all together. I akso found the panels that go along the top side do not fit well and so I had to bend them quite a bit to get a good fit. I also feel the corkscrew pegs ( that I had to buy separately) should come included, as there are ESSENTIAL to keeping the run predator-proof. So although I would recommend the Eglu Go Hutch and 2 meter run, it needs Omlet to 'tweak' it.

Excellant Product Overall - Needs some tweeking!
The good bits -The hutch itself is the easiest I have ever owned for our rabbits (and we've had a few hutches!!) Cleaning it is a doddle as was putting it together. They don't seem to have chewed it either which is a vast improvement.
The bad bits - There is a small gap in the bottom corner which in the summer is fine but I imagine in the winter may prove drafty. I have already purchased the thermal liners.
The run however was not so easy to put together. First off the website does not make it clear that the extended 2m run already comes with the anti-tunnel mesh wire. I had orderd this seperately so had to get a refund. Also it comes with NO instrutions to put the 2m run together (and its not as easy as you may think!!). The leaflet only shows you how to put together the 1m run.
After a phonecall to Omlet I was directed to look at the Eglu Go for Chickens manual - however trying to put several pieces of wire together whilst juggling an ipad in sunlight with 2 kids & 2 dogs helping was not ideal. My fingers were very sore for a few days after clipping it all together. It's a shame that the 2m run isn't the same as the 1m run that has the anti-tunnel mesh built in. I had to really struggle to place this under the run/hutch and position it correctly and then secure with cable ties so it moves as one peice when I need to change its postion in the garden.
I do think it would also be usful to have some sort of side or top access door to allow you to get the rabbits into the hutch at night. At the moment my poor 9 year old has to crawl right into the run to get them in as there is no way I could get through the door.
Delivery - We had at first patyed for the hutch to be delivered & set up by Omlet but were informed that this would be a 3-4 weeks wait which wasn't acceptable. when it did arrive via courier a few of the wire panels had broken through the packaging and had been knocked. There are already as few rust pactches on the corners and also where the pin that locks the doors scrapes the loops that hold it closed. For a VERY expensice hutch I'm hoping these don't get any worse and stands the test of time.
Despite the above, I wouldn't hesitate to get this hutch again and wish I'd got one earlier instead of messing around with wooden hutches.
