Amazing
Hassan, Buckinghamshire,
To start with I wanted a taste of the country, so I decided I wanted to own chickens, i remembered my friend who had chickens and said he had a omlet classic, this was around 4-5 years back and I remembered him saying it was 100% fox proof. So I decided to have a look on the websites and after carful thought I choose this one. I saw wooden coops for half the price but then you have to buy the treatmeants and maintain it each 6months it was a lot of hard work. And the omlet eglu go is .... just simple. I built it my self, took me around 2 hours to do with the 2m run. I love it and so do my 4 chickens thank you!!!! Maybe in my next house... I will get the bee hive

Egg-static about my Eglu Go
Louise, Devon,
I'm very happy with my Eglu Go chicken coop and 2m run. It was quite easy to assemble although I'm in my 60's - struggled a little to attach coop to hutch - the quality is excellent and the product looks good in the garden. The added free extras - bowls and shade cover - are a nice touch. Would have liked an easy way to detach run from hutch for extra cleaning and for moving chicks into shed on cold nights - maybe an idea for future product development...? Also purchased the plastic all weather cover which is robust and does the job well. I would 100% recommend this product.

Omlet chicken house and run
Loveday,
Looks lovely and was straight forward to assemble except the clips that fitted three ways. I wish it was easier to separate the run from the house. We haven't needed to use the house and run, but bought it for emergencies as we had inherited some badly hen pecked hens.

Fiona,
Eglu Go Up bought to house 3 bantams and on the whole satisfactory apart from the inner grey section which quickly became very dirty and difficult to clean. I don't expect to have to clean out more than once a week! We replaced this part with a smaller wooden frame, higher off the floor and with four roosting bars with better separation, which we made ourselves. This makes life much easier and rather more hygienic.

All the birds love it so much we brought another one!
Reed, Lincolnshire,
We brought a eglu go after a mite infestation causing the birds to become almost depressed, we brought them the new eglu and they love it. It's spacious and the multiple roosts mean that the birds can still huddle down on straw while feeling safe gripping to the roost, we hatched some chicks who we kept in a wooden coop, but they all huddled in the eglu, so we brought another for them.

Really happy
Edward,
It took a little longer than I thought it would to build, mostly because the ceiling of the run won't slot into the house, as easily as it looks in the instructions. That said we've made it work and the chickens love their home. I'm glad we chose green over purple in the end too. The eglu is great and so easy to maintain.

Shaky Start; Happy Hens!
Lynn,
My purchase experience was a little trying - issues with offer codes and broken parts - however, the Omlet team were very patient and obliging and I eventually had everything I needed. The build took some time, (I was probably being a bit too precise about it!) but, after a couple of days of on/off activity, I was the proud owner of a beautiful Eglu Go Coop and Run. The girls arrived a couple of weeks later (ex-bats) and immediately took to it - although we had a fair few crazy moments as they learnt how to be chickens and I learnt how to be a chicken keeper!. The run caging is a little "soft" in places but then it's probably not meant to be leant upon when trying to fix shades in place! I have found that I've needed to line the inside of the run with sunshade material since, without it, the girls simply ejected most of the woodchips! (Quite a challenge to do that from the inside!). We live near the North Cornwall coast so it's often wet and windy, hence opting for a plastic coop. I absolutely believe I have made the right decision, the Eglu is so easy to keep clean and it's resistance to the weather is pretty good. 2 months in, we've got some small signs of rust on the run and the shade eyelets, however these are purely cosmetic and in no way compromise the overall look and/or security of the run. I'm very happy to leave the girls in when we go out, the run is spacious enough and very secure. Next time (yes, I'm already planning for a bigger flock!), I would look at buying a raised coop and, if I added another run, something that is a little easier for me to get into and out of for cleaning/maintenance etc. The option of an electronic opener would be a luxury too. I guess I need to start saving for a new Cube!!!

Eglu Go with 2m run
Susan, Texas,
Well I have not gotten my chickens yet. I am waiting till it's a bit cooler. I'm in Texas! But the coop is assembled and waiting. The pros are it is attractive and I think it will be okay. My husband helped me assemble it and honestly is was no easy task but we managed. After putting it all up and securing it I really wish I had gotten the Eglu Go Up. This one will be very difficult to clean the run since it sits on the ground. Very difficult to get a rake inside the run to clean it. I have never kept chickens before so it is all a learning process. I know there is a "conversion" kit but I cannot justify another $400.00 so I will make do. The coop itself is very nice! It will be easy to clean and gather the eggs. It's just the run that will be difficult.

Great coop
Julie,
I bought this for the size & look of it & was not disappointed I have 3 lavender Peking Banthams who are very happy to live here and have plenty of room. Both the hens are laying in the nest box everyday

Fab and Funky!
Clair,
We are first time chicken keepers and wanted a coop that was easy to maintain and to access so that my little boy could help to look after our ladies. We chose an Eglu Go in purple - it looks bright and cheery in the garden, can be blasted off in a jiffy with the jet wash and doesn't require the maintenance of keeping red mite at bay like a traditional wooden house would. We bought the 2 metre run to attach to it, which is plenty of room for the ladies for a couple of hours until they go free ranging for the day. It is well made, sturdy and most importantly, fox proof. A brilliant product, I think I just might need another one for some more hens.... :)
