Wonderful
Trish,
I love my chickens, but they were truly free range and making a mess on our deck. The inlet fence keeps them in part of the back yard away from the deck. I love that I can still see them in their yard and that my deck is poop free. It was easy to set up and very portable.

Good quality but hard to handle
Alex,
I’ve only set this up once, so perhaps I’ll get better at it! Glad I didn’t get longer that 12m because it’s hard to deploy and roll up this without getting in a big tangle when you’re on your own. Good quality and good design, but would love some tips on the website on how to roll it back up.

Omlet response:
Hi Alex, Thank you for your feedback and the suggestion. Our tip would be to deploy the fencing flat on the ground and then try to roll it from there. The poles can be left in place in the process, helping you from tangling the mesh. Don't hesitate to contact us for any query or question. Best Regards, Your Omlet Customer Serices team
Great fencing
Mark,
I got this few weeks ago shipping was faster than I expected. The fencing was about 2 hours to setup. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was parts were missing and a gate latch was defective. Still waiting on poles to finish the fencing. This will be great setup once all is put together.

Ready to use and effective
Riku,
I needed a quick, cost effective and temporary fencing solution to stop my dog from eating windfall apples, which were making him sick. One kit was plenty to encircle a mature apple tree and keep apples contained. This fence is very cost effective for the length and quality, and could be put together in 45 minutes. The gateway is simple but effective, but I wouldn't want to be fiddling with it multiple times a day. Tent pegs ensure access isn't possible under the fence. Once apple season is over, I'm reassured I can just pop this out of the lawn, roll it up and use again next year. Only room for improvement is perhaps they could double the number of tent pegs, as there weren't quite enough to secure the bottom of the fence all the way round and do the guy ropes ... but I Haven't used the guy ropes as I don't want a trip hazard so that's no issue for me (the fence holds up fine, just needs to be pushed down in places every week or so).

Easy to set up but not a perfect solution
Tina,
This fence is easy to set up and install, the parts are well made. I found that my chickens can escape by going under or flying over the fence. The ground in my yard is not perfectly even so the fence has some spots that are not as tight as others, meaning they sometimes escape. But it works most of the time. It isn't really a tall enough fence to keep any hen from flying over, except maybe the heaviest breeds. I have Orpingtons and they can fly over but not easily.

Omlet response:
Hi Tina, Thank you for your review about our chicken fencing. Our fencing is 1.25m high which is actually higher than most other types of fencing. We would recommend for you to clip the wings of your chickens. This process is easy and harmless for the chickens, you will find more info about this procedure here. We would also advise you to ensure that there is no object near the fencing that the chickens could use as a step to jump over it. Depending on the shape of your fencing, you may indeed require additional poles to ensure that it is tight enough. Additional poles can be purchased here. We hope that this will help, don't hesitate to contact us for any further questions. Yours, Your Omlet Customer Services team
Chicken fence is brilliant
Cherry,
It’s great that you can buy extra posts. My ground is rough and irregular so extra posts really help!

A nice way to expand their universe.
Jean, Michigan,
My daughter and I are new chicken owners (Spring 2022). We have 6 hens. They moved in our new Eglu cube / walk-in run combo 3 months ago and, from what we can tell, they love it. And so do we! Why we love the Omlet fence? We cannot free range - too many predators, including hawks, coyotes and racoons. Thanks to the Omlet fence, when we are playing with or attending our hens, the Omlet fence allows us get them out of the run and to expand their universe. The fence is easy to install and can easily be move around.

Should have clips and guide wires included
Sherrie, Ohio,
I purchased 5 extra fence poles thinking clips and guide wire would be included but it’s not! You should at least offer those for a few extra dollars more or have those available to buy separately…

So practical!
Mags,
I bought the Omlet Chicken Fencing a month ago, which has made my life so much easier. The chickens can't get into my veggie garden and munch on all my seedlings. I can now also move the fencing around to allow the lawn to recover or when I want the chickens to turn over or compost part of the veggie garden. Love how it is changeable and movable easily. It's a win-win for us all.

Keeping them in perfectly!
Latosha,
I was skeptical about this being sturdy enough to keep our chickens in but it’s doing the job perfectly!
