Very compitant hubby put this together for me. I could have done it but it would have taken much longer. Now up and running and hens are safe from foxes and goshawk who were big problems before. One buzzard has circled but not bothered to come down. Hens are doing a brilliant job of scratching out moss! I move them twice a day but probably only because I can ie small holding not garden.

I have a run extension and use this on the basic full run all the time. It's that sudden down poor time of year and the hens can scratch and peck in shelter instead of just under the coop. I have put a piece of opaque plastic sheet (dpm) on the top at the house end so that the interior is more inviting for egg laying. It comes about 1 foot down each side and is about18 inches long. A ground to ground cover only one panel deep would be a good option. Glad I have this one and it means they still get sunshine and I can see them.

Installed the green auto coop door a couple of months ago but been a bit slack in writing the review. Excellent pre-sale information from the parent UK Omlet team. Advised not to insert coop door into the steel wall due to sun on metal heating & warping door. Fully comprehend this as the shed roof with our solar pool heating reaches 46C in summer! Retro-fitted the door using the aperture where the external egg laying box was located. (The girls didn't use it for laying especially after a large eucalyptus branch fell & left a large dent in it!) Using AAA marine grade plywood, painted & sealed attached to the supporting struts of the metal wall. Easily followed the instructions & video to put the Omlet door into the plywood & works a treat! (see pictures)

We thought it might take them a few nights and need help to get into it as our chickens are not used to climbing up a ladder. But they did it the first night and have started laying. They are so much happier and love their ew home.

I’ve been using these for 2 plus years and they work great for me and my budgies. They fit perfectly and are durable. Most times I can clean them off and flip them over for another use. I wouldn’t use anything else.

This is my second coup, the first was wood and began to fall apart. It was a lengthy build, with a few mistakes, but otherwise easy to follow directions! I was impatient and tried to skip a step so don't do that. Once finished, it was sturdy and so easy to maintain! A good washing now and again and it will last a long time. The best part is that I have predators from land and air so the run is secure and keeps the flock safe. It was easy to move once the wheels were engaged! I'm beyond happy with this product! My chickens just moved outside so we are still using the chick feeders. Next up, teaching them the ladder!

My budgie is 8yrs old and i was worried about the transition to the new cage. But ater some millet and three days hes in and loving the new space!
