hi my budgie had 5 eggs shes been siting on them but today ther was only 4 she came out of her box before i can see in it thers only one left why is she eating them its never hapend before with my other birds thers only 2 of them in ther so its quiet for them gwyneth

hi. my bugies laid one egg yesterday. the nest that she laid eggs are small pot. and m worried about if she lays 4-5 eggs in that nest and whenbabies grows big may be after 2,3 weeks then they wont fit in. what should i do in these circumstances???

Hi there, first of all I'm very thankful to omlet.co.uk team for providing me useful information through this site. I'm new to breeding process of budgies. My female budgie has hatched 3 eggs with babies out of them almost 10 days ago. Now I have cleaned their wooden nest box for the first time, but after cleaning and fixing it back to cage I just noticed female budgie is bit avoiding to sit back in nest box, even she has still her three babies in it. What should I do now? She not look familiar with nest box as she was before cleaning and removing from cage. Any helpful comment/suggestion will be highly obliged.

My budgy have laid 8 eggs in 2months. The mother keep on destroying the egg. What could the reason be for this behaviour.

Hi I have two pairs of birds, one bird is high up on a shelf nesting, I have two nesting boxes up there looks like she's not using them, how do I check on her when I literally have to get a ladder to climb up into where she is without her abandoning the eggs? I'm excited! Any advice would be helpful very very new to this! Thanks

My female budgie has laid 6 eggs to which 2 have hatched. the last one was due to hatch two days ago but hasn't so do I remove the 4 eggs that haven't hatched although she is still sitting on them.

what do i do if my budgies are eating their eggs? I'm kinda new to this whole breeding experiance and i do not know what to do. i want to breed but they wont let me!
